I am new to Dodgeball…

It’s natural to feel intimidated at first but after one or two games, everyone always realizes there is nothing to it. Dodgeball is great fun, very easy to learn, one of the safest sports and is played in a controlled environment. We also use the best quality Dodgeball’s leaving you pain and bruise free.

What should I wear?

Regular athletic wear and non-marking shoes. We encourage teams to show their team spirit with matching uniforms, headbands and wristbands… Just like the film.

Who enforces the rules?

The players themselves. Dodgeball is based on the honour system, players are expected to understand and abide by the rules on their own. During games, team captains and players that are not playing are responsible to assist as referees. Team captains are responsible to assign a player to ref if he/she is unable to ref.

If I don’t agree with the ref’s call?

Accept the call and get on with the game. If there is a controversy over a call, the referee’s are ultimately in charge and have the final say. There are no exceptions to this rule. While explanations of a referee’s call may be legitimately sought afterwards, protesting the referee’s judgement is forbidden.
